USI Process (Unique Student Identifier)
All students studying in a nationally recognised course are required to have a Unique Student Identifier. It creates a secure online record of your nationally recognised training that you can access anytime and anywhere, and it’s yours for life. In case you still don’t have a USI, please follow the steps below:
STEP 2: Have personal contact details ready: Address, email, phone number etc.
STEP 3: Visit usi.gov.au and click on ‘Create a USI’.
STEP 4: Agree to the terms and conditions and follow the steps.
STEP 5: Record the unique code and keep it somewhere safe.
STEP 6: Use this code when you enrol.
Subject 1: Clinical Hypnosis
1) DCHHYP501
2) DCHHYP502 (written questions)
3) DCHHYP503 (written questions)
Subject 2: Counselling
The first 2 competencies are mandatory
1) CHCCSL001 Establish and confirm the counselling relationship
2) CHCLEG001 Work legally and ethically
You would also then complete 2 of the following 4 electives:
3) CHCCCS019 Recognise and respond to crisis situations
4) CHCDIV001 Work with diverse people
5) CHCCCS014 Provide brief interventions
You could complete the following between Module 1 and 3:
1) DCHHYP504 Role Play
You could complete the following between Module 3 and 4:
1) DCHHYP505 Develop Clinical hypnosis and Strategic Psychotherapy Practice: Professional Development Plan & Research project
You could complete the following after Module 3:
1) DCHHYP506 Apply Strategic Psychotherapy > Case Studies by Michael Yapko
2) DCHHYP506 Apply strategic psychotherapy techniques: Case Studies conducted by yourself
