Q1. What formats and devices do you recommend for recording the role play?
- Formats: For videos, please use the following formats- MP4 (.mp4), Windows Media Video (.wmv), Quicktime Video (.mov, qt), or Apple Video (.m4v)
- Video lengths are stated in the assessment instructions. Please stay within the guidelines. We recognise that it is often hard to be exact, and a variance of 7 minutes either way should be ample “wiggle ”
Q2. Who can I ask to be my client in the Role Play?
You can ask another student in your class, or a friend or family member.
Q3. Do I need to Transcribe every role play session?
A. No, you only need to transcribe the practical assessment in 506, annotate it as per the assessment instructions, and submit
Q4. How do I transcribe my sessions?
A. You can play your recording and stop intermittently and type what was said. Or else you can outsource it to an online virtual assistant. There are several online services that do this, such as fiverr.com. The units have helpful resources you can use such as free transcription services like Otter.com

Q9. Do I need to use a consent form?
You are welcome to create one. There is also a tick box within the generic Intake Form that asks consent from your client to have Hypnotherapy and this would suffice.
