Emma Paul is our Counselling Coordinator, Trainer and Assessor. She is passionate about creating engaging, supportive learning experiences that help students develop into confident, ethical practitioners. With nearly a decade of clinical practice and extensive experience in vocational education, Emma brings a unique blend of clinical expertise, educational leadership and genuine compassion to every student interaction.
Emma holds a Bachelor of Counselling and is currently completing a Master of Mental Health and a Graduate Certificate in Applied Coaching. She is an ACA Level 3 Registered Counsellor with advanced training in trauma-informed practice, Internal Family Systems (IFS), relationship counselling and Psychedelic-Assisted Therapy. Her work is grounded in person-centred principles, recognising the importance of psychological safety, curiosity and respect for each individual’s unique learning journey.
Throughout her career, Emma has delivered and assessed nationally recognised qualifications in mental health and counselling, mentored students through placement, and supported learners from diverse backgrounds to develop both competence and confidence. As our Counselling Coordinator, she is committed to fostering a collaborative learning community where students feel encouraged, challenged and well supported from enrolment through to graduation.
Emma believes that effective education extends beyond the transfer of knowledge. By integrating evidence-informed practice with warmth, authenticity and practical application, she helps students translate theory into meaningful clinical skills. She is passionate about preparing future counsellors to make a lasting difference in the lives of others while continually deepening their self-awareness, professionalism and reflective practice.
Emma considers it a privilege to walk alongside students as they develop not only the knowledge and skills of counselling, but also the presence, integrity and self-awareness that underpin meaningful therapeutic work.
