Depression is the most common mood disorder in Australia – and the world -according to recent figures from the World Health Organization (WHO).

Despite the considerable attention paid to depression by the mental health profession and the widespread use of antidepressant medications, depression is still growing in prevalence in every demographic group, especially young people.

Depression’s debilitating tentacles reach into every aspect of peoples’ lives, including relationships, productivity and physical health. Depression’s dangers simply cannot be overstated.

In this four-day training, the core skills of hypnosis will be articulated and participants will be guided in the direction of evolving artistry in performing hypnosis in goal-oriented psychotherapy.

Emphasis will be placed on practical experience in defining therapeutic targets and then structuring and delivering strategic hypnosis sessions. Emphasis will also be placed on evolving flexibility with hypnosis, a willingness to try different structures and styles as a means of developing a broader skill base.
